Simultaneous output sync/speed problems

Reported by: broli Owned by: lennart
Milestone: Component: module-combine-*

Description

I have 2 sound cards. when using the "Simultaneous" sink i get the following problems.

*) mplayer: video and sound sync problems. frame dropping (in the sound track)

*) xine works kinda ok, with video frame dropping on hard

*) some flash players drop parts of sound (youtube, vimeo, ect)

*) the sound in one sink starts to skip ahead of the other one (having both with out loud speakers creates a "fish tank" sound effect)

moving the app to one of the "normal" sinks (using pavucontrol), fixes the problem immediately (without closing the application)

pulseaudio 0.9.15 in Fedora 11. default config

List of packages and their version http://pastebin.ca/1462537

I also attach the output of running pulseaudio -vvvvv" in a terminal. in that attach, video starts in one sound card, then its moved to the other one, and then to the simultaneous sink. after some time in that sink i move the stream arround a few more times and close it.

Hope this helps. feel free to ask anything, by mail, or by pvt msg on freenode (even if im not in #pulseaudio)
